Whole Companion Veterinary Care is a mobile veterinary acupuncture practice providing acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine for cats and dogs, performed by a veterinarian, right in your home.
Helping your pet feel better by treating the body, mind, and soul.
Your pet is more than a diagnosis. At Whole Companion Veterinary Care, I take a holistic, whole-animal approach to health, not only treating the symptoms, but also identifying and managing the many factors that could have contributed to your pet’s health and well-being.
Drawing on my experience as a general practice veterinarian and my training in Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM), I create individualized treatment plans designed to support your pet’s health, personality, and quality of life. This can include acupuncture, herbal medicine, food therapy, and lifestyle adjustments. Whether your companion is living with chronic pain, mobility problems, digestive or skin issues, anxiety, or another ongoing condition, acupuncture can be a valuable part of an integrative approach to veterinary care.
And because I come to you, your pet can receive treatment in the comfort and familiarity of home, without the stress of a trip to the veterinary hospital.
Integrative medicine combines conventional veterinary care with complementary therapies such as acupuncture, herbal medicine, and food therapy. The goal isn't to replace conventional medicine, but to give your pet more tools for managing disease and supporting quality of life.
Conventional veterinary medicine has transformed the health and longevity of our companion animals. At the same time, no single medical approach has all the answers. Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine offers another way of looking at health by considering not only a pet's diagnosis and symptoms, but also their constitution, temperament, diet, environment, and the patterns occurring throughout the body.
Just as no two pets are alike, no two diseases are exactly the same either. As a veterinarian with training in both conventional veterinary medicine and TCVM, I use this additional perspective to develop individualized treatment plans for each patient.
